Our Client is a leading international consultant with offices scattered around the World.

Currently, they are looking to recruit a UX Design Lead Architect for their London office.

You must have be a design lead with a strong UX background, experience in Service Design and an interest in design strategy.

We are looking for a seasoned, hands-on practitioner, with a can-do attitude.

As a senior member of the team and design representative in the organisation, your focus will be on people

– clients, users/customers, team and colleagues and on the process support and advocate for the existing systems, and with a critical eye improve upon them.

You will be reporting to the Global Head of the XD Practice and programme delivery.

EXPERIENCE

· Senior designer with over 8 years work experience working for blue chip clients

· as a Senior UX designer, Senior Product designer, UX architect, or a Service designer.

· Design processes, agile development and lean UX.

· Working collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team.

· Creating omnichannel experiences – cross-platform and cross-device solutions.

· Designing enterprise level, consumer grade digital services and products.

· Ability to define key metrics and evaluate project success.

· Working to strict deadlines.

· Proven design track record and design agency experience.

· Design degree or equivalent.

You will be involved in leading pitches, presentations and support proposals.

Create project estimates and plans

Summary of Senior UX Architect Skills required:

· Provide leadership in challenging situations through clarity, tact and diplomacy.

· Ability to identify and communicate the commercial impact of design decisions.

· Full command of the UX process and an understanding of the Service Design process.

· Visual thinking, proof of concept, rapid prototyping, storyboarding and technical skills.

· Attention to detail.

· Ability to quickly turn around wireframes in an iterative environment.

· Proficiency in Sketch, Axure, Adobe CS, etc.

· An understanding of technology.

The Role

This is a client-facing leadership role for an Experience Design Director who excels in the art of presentation, acting as the spokesperson for a key client in senior forums.   • A detail-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently in high-stakes environments

A leading B2B fintech company is seeking a talented and experienced UX Design Lead to join on a 4-month fixed-term contract to provide paternity cover. This role is ideal for a senior designer who can lead UX design across complex digital products, maintain brand and design system consistency, and work effectively in a remote-first environment.


The Role

You will be responsible for leading UX initiatives across key digital platforms, ensuring high usability and a consistent visual experience. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive user journeys and polished, brand-aligned interfaces. This position requires both hands-on design and strategic thinking.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading UX design for B2B software products, following established design templates and brand guidelines.

Fixed-Term (4 Months)

Remote-first (UK-based), with occasional travel to office in the M5 corridor

A leading B2B fintech company is seeking a talented and experienced UX Design Lead to join on a 4-month fixed-term contract to provide paternity cover. This role is ideal for a senior designer who can lead UX design across complex digital products, maintain brand and design system consistency, and work effectively in a remote-first environment.


The Role

You will be responsible for leading UX initiatives across key digital platforms, ensuring high usability and a consistent visual experience. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive user journeys and polished, brand-aligned interfaces. This position requires both hands-on design and strategic thinking.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading UX design for B2B software products, following established design templates and brand guidelines.
  • Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Working closely with product and development teams to understand user needs and deliver intuitive design solutions.
  • Supporting documentation and handovers to ensure continuity post-contract.
  • Contributing to stakeholder discussions and design iteration processes.


Skills & Experience

Required:

  • Strong UX/UI design experience, ideally within B2B or fintech sectors.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, etc.).
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop.
  • Ability to work within and expand on existing brand and design systems.

  • You will have a very keen interest in robotics and, ideally, have experience designing, building and developing robots either professionally or for your own projects.
  • Proficient with at least one of MCAD & ECAD (ideally Solidworks and Altium). Experience with both is highly desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge and skills working with C++ and Python in linux.
  • Proven commercial experience in the design, specification, and assembly of complex electro-mechanical systems.
  • A track record of troubleshooting and solving engineering problems that arise during the design, manufacturing, or testing phases.

Nice to haves:
  • Design/specification/execution of hardware integration and testing (i.e. life testing, robustness testing).
  • Experience with ROS.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Actuator specification and design.
  • Robotic joint design / kinematics.
  • Mechanical power transmission.
  • Understanding of materials properties particularly metals, plastics and rubbers.
  • Specifying components.
  • Surface mount PCB assembly and rework.
  • Electronic and/or mechanical system debugging.
  • Commissioning the manufacture of components and subassemblies.
  • Medium volume complex system manufacture/assembly processes.
  • Design for Manufacture including: volume manufacturing processes (e.g. injection moulding), CNC machining, additive manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings/tolerances/engineering specifications.
  • QA/QC processes.
