Reporting to the Chief Data and Analytics Officer, you’ll shape the technology vision, guide key decisions, and ensure alignment with strategic goals. Key Responsibilities:

Shape business strategy by aligning architectural priorities with organisational goals.

Mentor architects to define current and future state architectures across applications, data, and technology.

Create enterprise capability models and strategic roadmaps covering principles, processes, and IT landscapes.

Drive enhancements to enterprise information architecture to boost performance and unlock new value.

Partner with operations leaders to align digital initiatives with business needs.

Oversee delivery of architecture-led solutions across infrastructure, applications, and analytics.

Establish architecture governance frameworks and lead forums like the Architecture Board.

Collaborate on corporate data policies, defining ownership, stewardship, and compliance standards.

Manage and develop solution and data architects, driving performance and accountability.

Key Requirements:

Deep expertise in data integration (ETL), Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS), and data modelling best practices.

Experience in the London Market Insurance or reinsurance.

10+ years in enterprise architecture roles within complex organisations, supporting major transformation programmes.

Strong understanding of IT service delivery and architecture governance using industry-standard tools and methods.

Proficient in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman, especially within insurance or reinsurance contexts.

Familiar with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and emerging trends in global insurance markets.

Skilled in designing end-to-end IT solutions across applications, integration, data, security, and infrastructure.

Excellent communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and translate complexity into action.

Proven leadership in managing architecture teams, driving performance, mentoring, and succession planning.
