Job Description
The role will be responsible for devising solutions to business requirements for new and existing clients within the Data & AI domain. The role combines commercial acumen with broad technical expertise to be able to assist customers and partners in translating business requirements into cost effective, fit for purpose solutions, in line with UK Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategies. The role will primarily be focused on supporting activity within the Pre-sales and bidding space. Working as part of the Netcompany GTM team the Data & AI Pre-sales Lead will support all aspects of presales customer engagement, including exploratory meetings, workshops, bids, and overall account strategy discussions. They will be able to demonstrate and document all aspects of Netcompany focused solutions and so requires a broad technical understanding across Data & AI, Cloud, Solution Architecture, Data Engineering/Science/Governance and DevOps or DataOps, leveraging our capabilities and expertise in each of these areas to develop appropriate solutions. Key responsibilities
- Provide effective solution presales support to all aspects of sales efforts and in doing so, strengthen the qualification, progression and conversion of opportunities
- Working in partnership with GTM Sales Leaders, work closely with prospective clients to identify and analyse specific business needs
- Work closely with GTM sales leaders to qualify sales opportunities from a technical & solution viability perspective
- Define solutions with the Netcompany GTM team to support client business requirements and future strategies
- Act as the technical point of contact for prospects and the GTM team
- Presenting and marketing the design and value of proposed solutions and business cases to clients and partners

Qualifications
- 4+ years' proven track record of complex, solution-led pre-sales for technology based service providers in the Data & AI space
- 2+ years' proven track record of Data & AI delivery for complex, ideally public sector organisations
- Customer focus, culture awareness and ability to understand and translate customers' needs into leading-edge solutions that can be commercialised.
- Detailed technical understanding of modern Data & AI technologies
- Hyperscale cloud design and implementation experience (Azure, AWS mandatory, GCP & Oracle Cloud desirable)
- Individual sales, influencing and negotiating skills
- Ability to generate leads and opportunities in line with Netcompany's strengths
- Writing proposals and managing sales meetings
- Diplomatic with strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of communicating at all levels within an organisation
- Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with c-level executives, IT Management, architects and developers
- Disciplined, organised and self-motivated, with a positive "can do" attitude
