About the Role
As a Social Video Editor within the Pubity Group team, you’ll be responsible for crafting compelling video content for our Facebook pages – from script to screen. You’ll work across the full post-production process: editing clips, adding motion graphics and sound, and collaborating with the wider team to deliver high-performing, social-first content.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the most influential digital publishers in the world, helping shape the content Gen Z sees every day.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Post-Production
- Edit short-form videos for Facebook using Adobe Premiere Pro .
- Add graphics, sound, and captions to enhance storytelling and meet platform expectations.
- Ensure all content is optimised for Facebook’s performance and audience retention.
Publishing & Scheduling
- Prepare and upload content into the publishing system in line with deadlines.
- Collaborate with Channel Managers and the Social Video Manager to ensure output consistency.
Performance & Feedback
- Use performance data and editorial feedback to refine edits and formats.
- Attend weekly reviews with your line manager to track output and improve performance.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in video editing, ideally in a digital media or social-first role.
- Strong knowledge of Facebook and content that performs well on the platform.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro , with bonus points for After Effects or Photoshop.
- A creative eye for short-form content and digital storytelling.
- Organised, collaborative, and able to work to tight turnaround times.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented, and excited to work in a high-growth digital team.
- Passionate about social media, youth culture, and the world of online video.

You will edit raw footage into professional-quality videos for social media (YT, TikTok, IG), paid social ads, in-store screens and more. A main responsibility is to lend your expertise of video storytelling for all long form and short form videos as requested by global markets.
Requirements:
- Create fun, interesting and engaging video content, relevant to followers
- Ensure that content is aligned with the brands aesthetic and identity
- Partner closely with the Head of Social Media to align video content with brand objectives
- Incorporate motion graphics, animations and special effects into video projects
- Complete post-production for projects including grading, sound, encoding in different formats
- Optimise videos for different advertising channels
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet tight deadlines
- Ensure all videos adhere to technical and creative standards
Skills:
- Experience creating native social content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram.
- Experience editing in-app for TikTok. And/or Capcut
- A comprehensive knowledge of Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Working knowledge of the entire Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to craft footage to be used in integrated storytelling across multiple digital channels.
- Experience working with both UGC-style content shot on phones and highly produced content
- Understanding of working with mixed codecs and frame sizes is required
