The HR Transformation opportunity
The HR Transformation team is expanding. Our focus is on partnering with clients to shape and navigate their evolving People agendas. We aid in building functions that are business-focused, cost-effective, and agile by reimagining how HR can meet the specialised needs of their stakeholders. Core to this strategy is the incorporation of Global Business Services (GBS) models, which act as a strategic enabler for HR organisations wanting to transform and evolve.
Our HR Reimagined team offers strategic advisory services that cover end to end HR strategy through the delivery of value-added services and HR experience design. We employ a forward-thinking approach, leveraging GBS as a means to streamline processes, enhance service delivery and drive business value. This involves looking beyond routine HR operations and focusing on a Strategic People function that can drive the necessary change.
We’re in search of new team members who can bring a new approach to delivering HR strategy. We value those with experience in designing future-ready HR GBS functions, efficiently using technology and Gen AI to enhance our client’s experience. The ideal candidates are those who can guide and challenge our clients' thinking to cultivate bespoke, optimised HR functions that serve the business better. Our focus is leveraging both GBS and technology to enrich the employee experience.
As part of our HR Reimagined team, you'll work with others to help clients reinvent their HR processes. We don't use blanket solutions, but tailor our methods to each client's business and goals. Using universal strategies and technology, we help HR departments change and improve. Your knowledge and experience will play a key role in driving this transformation.
Being successful as a Senior Manager
We are looking for dynamic individuals who can demonstrate real impact within businesses to help transform some of the world's most respected private and public sector organisations. You will be building upon your existing experience of working across multiple components of HR, which may include but is not limited to HR Operating and Service Delivery Model, Future of HR, HR Capabilities development and HR Strategy.
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate;
- Experience of leading multiple HR Transformation workstreams to support organisations in the development of future HR Operating models
- Leadership of teams to delivery complex and inter-dependent deliverables e.g; C-Suite level presentations, workshop documentation / designing and facilitating of process localisation and documentation build workshops
- Experience of leading HR and HR Service Delivery Transformation - focused on changing the way in which HR and GBS functions operate, increasing and innovating their capabilities
- Being able to demonstrate GBS experience end to end – through from strategy and design to implementation
- Management of HR organisation design – creating an HR Operating Model that deploys the right skills at the right time and is enabled by smart technologies to support the desired business outcomes
- Development of tailored HR visions and strategies for clients, utilizing extensive experience and knowledge of Global Business Services models to drive transformation and improvement in HR functions
- Experience in establishing new or optimizing existing Global Business Services operations to drive efficiency and effectiveness through the use of Automation and AI, providing valuable insights and strategic recommendations to clients in various industries
- Ability to assess and design GBS functions to maximise our clients’ services and ROI within HR, using operational and strategic knowledge to establish benchmarks, set service parameters and create a seamless delivery model
- An understanding of how different GBS models fit for different client sectors, the pros and cons for each and how to guide our clients on maturing their GBS function
- External curiosity, developing future points of view and insights for EY to share with their clients and develop the market share of the HR Transformation team
- In-depth knowledge in one specific area of HR – e.g. HR Shared Services/ GBS, HR Operating model design, Hr Strategy or HR capability development for HR Transformation
- Preparing materials for designing and delivering immersive client workshops to help shape HR strategy, HR Operating Model and HR Service Delivery design
- Leading client engagements with multiple work streams and workforce optimisation interventions in a broad range of industry sectors and successfully managing complex change.
- Developing detailed implementation roadmaps, risk mitigation and governance plansand managing project reporting.
- Ability to help clients solve complex business problems using analytical skills to provide supporting evidence and appropriate rationale.
- Experience of end-to-end HR GBS design from strategy through to implementation. Preferably in the context of group functional transformation (i.e. alongside finance, commercial, IT etc)

What you'll do:Organizational Performance:

- Design and implement performance frameworks that enable clarity, ongoing feedback in service of growth, drive accountability and enable high performance.

Responsibilities:
- Support talent management across the employee lifecycle, including staffing and resource allocation, performance management, talent development and career advisory aspects.
- Coordinate performance management, career planning, project review processes for all consulting staff.
- Support the staffing (resource allocation) process, including updating and maintaining project team information.
