In this role you will be the first point of contact for staff and guest injuries and illnesses. You will play a pivotal role in delivering safe and fun experiences for all out guests.
You will ensure excellent standards of health & safety, which is the number one priority at the Resort; whilst taking both a customer and employee focused approach to work. When required, you'll be ready to assist in emergency first aid situations and will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of care.
Responsibilities:
- Treating and Assessing patients within your scope of practice alongside Thorpe Park policies and procedures.
- Accurately completing all documentation relating to patients, equipment and near misses in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Maintaining a strong presence on park.
- Ensure patient confidentiality is always maintained.
- Actively participate in personal and environmental cleaning routines to ensure infection prevention and control standards are adhered to.
- Achieve and maintain competence in all relevant skills and knowledge and actively strive to upkeep and grow your skillset.
- Undertaking and completing all required in-house training and maintaining competency.
- Conducting company medicals for ride operators in line with Occupational Health
- Perform any other duties that may be reasonably be requested of you in line with your skills, training and qualifications.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential Criteria:
- First Aid at Work Qualification or First Responder Qualification
- Experience of delivering First Aid.
- Experience of working effectively as part of a team.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of working within the theme park, events or pre-hospital environment.
