Role Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in mechanical design within a supportive and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will assist in the design and development of building services systems, contributing to real-world engineering projects from concept through to delivery. For the right candidate, there is a clear pathway to progress into a Chartered / Senior Engineering role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of mechanical services systems.
- Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, specifications, and reports
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to engineering problem-solving
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure design feasibility and compliance

We are looking for a Mechanical Design & Development Engineer to join our growing client in Milton Keynes. This would suit a candidate who has at least 2 years’ experience taking designs from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years’ + experience working in a Mechanical Design, Development Engineer or Product Design role designing bespoke products and parts using various manufacturing methods including: sheet metal, machined components, injection moulded plastic or die cast parts and components or similar.

Support delivery of EPCs, ESOS reports, and decarbonisation roadmaps
