Job Descriptions
Townhouse was created with a single goal: to disrupt and reinvent the global nail salon industry. We are the fastest-growing beauty brand in the UK and are driven by a passionate and innovative team to achieve our mission. We’ve brought together a world-class group from a wide range of industries. As we grow at speed, we need brilliant people (like you!) to join us on our journey and help us deliver our goal.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Content Designer to join our Talent Development team at Townhouse. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of creating, branding, and maintaining high-quality learning materials that power our training programmes and wider employee development initiatives.
From designing training protocols and manuals to producing engaging videos, digital content, and communication campaigns, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that every Townhouse learning experience is impactful, professional, and aligned with our brand. You’ll also manage our Learning Management System, ensuring our content is innovative, interactive, and engaging for all salon team members.
This role is perfect for someone who is creative, highly organised, and passionate about bringing learning content to life in a way that inspires, educates, and supports the growth of our people.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write, update, and standardise training protocols and manuals, ensuring clarity, consistency, and brand alignment.
- Plan, script, film, and edit engaging video content that enhances our training and wider learning programmes.
- Produce digital learning assets such as infographics, animations, and short-form content to reinforce key learning outcomes.
- Design and publish training guides, handbooks, and communication materials that support a culture of continuous learning.
- Manage our LMS (Attensi): upload and maintain modules, ensure smooth learner experience, and drive engagement with gamified activities.
- Collaborate with trainers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure content is innovative, accessible, and effective.
- Monitor learner progress and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure high-quality learning experiences.
- Partner with the Marketing and Communications teams to ensure all materials reflect Townhouse’s premium brand standards.
ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience in learning design, content development, or digital learning (ideally within hospitality, retail or beauty/wellness).
- Proficiency in content creation tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) and video editing software.
- Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail and clear communication.
- Experience managing an LMS (preferably Attensi) and creating engaging learning modules.
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
- Graphic design or animation skills (desirable).
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Collaborative, creative, and able to engage stakeholders with confidence.
