Rolls-Royce are looking for a people with a strong background in Systems Design & Intergration to join the team in Derby.
Our Systems Design Integration engineers, are responsible for problem resolution, defining requirements and designing and integrating products & systems. They perform concept level technical analysis to verify potential solutions.

What you'll be doing :
- Apply understanding of NSRP and wider Nuclear product operation, product systems, sub-systems and interactions. Integrate and manage interfaces.
- Design of systems using Systems Engineering principals including the use of Robust Design tools & techniques to achieve optimum solutions at product and sub-system level.
- Applying knowledge of the importance of determining, managing & flowing system level requirements.
- Planning and management of product change, design technical approval and technical investigations.
- Verifying that the system meets the requirements and ownership of standardisation reports.
- Good inter-personal and presentation skills. Ability to communicate with and influence all levels including the customer.
- Work with and co-ordinate extended (i.e. not necessarily co-located) multi-disciplinary teams.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree or master's in engineering or equivalent experience
- Strong technical knowledge in mechanical design methodologies and have an understanding of cross-discipline engineering concepts which include but are not limited to manufacturing engineering, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, thermal and mechanical analysis, cost engineering and product definition.
- An ability to apply logical, analytical and innovative thinking on a range of technical problems and make balanced decisions across technical and business parameters
- Good communication, presentation skills and an ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Membership of a relevant professional body.

- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation
