Full Job Description

Taylor Wimpey is seeking a motivated New Homes Sales Executive to join our team in Birmingham, West Midlands. You will be responsible for selling new build homes on one of our exciting developments, guiding customers through the buying process from initial inquiry to completion. This role requires excellent sales skills, a passion for property, and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Meet and greet potential customers visiting the show home and sales office.
  • Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of the new homes and the development.
  • Build rapport with potential buyers, understand their needs, and qualify leads.
  • Provide accurate information on house types, specifications, prices, and availability.
  • Guide customers through the reservation and purchase process.
  • Negotiate sales and close deals to meet sales targets.
  • Liaise with customers, solicitors, and mortgage advisors to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers throughout the build process.
  • Manage the sales database and keep records up-to-date.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Monitor competitor activity in the local area.
  • Prepare sales reports for management.
  • Ensure the sales office and show home are clean, tidy, and presentable.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in marketing and promotional activities.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the new homes industry or a related field (e.g., estate agency).
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • A confident and professional demeanour.
  • Ability to work independently and manage own time effectively.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays, as required.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Knowledge of the house buying process and mortgages is beneficial.
  • A passion for property and design.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
